One of my Google Alerts that help me research and keep up with California Natural History issues alerted me to a Patch article (a bit pleasantly surprised the site is still around) that pointed to the LA Marine Mammal Care Center, which is apparently struggling to survive.
So, I appeal you to follow the links below and help them out. Any organization that helps rescue plants and animals should get a leg up. The organization also has a fundraiser.
